Custom watercolour ultrasound; each original, lovingly handpainted to capture the essence of the subject so seeing the image come to life is what brings me joy.
Each watercolour ultrasound is created using high quality Arches 300gsm paper (containing no acid) and premium watercolour paints. All I need is a scan belonging to the pregnancy. These may come in any form i.e. 2D or 3D ultrasounds. You can either email the photos to me here or if you only have a video I am happy to have a quick flick through and grab a good image for you. The ultrasounds are painted in an abstract style with attention being placed on the highlights and shadows on the subject/s. Each painting will be signed by me.
Colours can be selected by you (or chosen by me if you have no particular preference). I can also blend colours into the one piece. Please leave a note at checkout, or send me an email here.
I understand that at times pregnancy can be hard and an ultrasound is all you may have left to remind you of your baby. Please know that I will be honoured to help you remember what was lost and will take every effort to ensure that this painting will be an amazing keepsake.
Once an order has begun, you are no longer able to cancel or request a refund as each drawing is customised for you. Further, I can only begin the piece once payment has been received in full.
I will be in contact throughout the commission so please feel free to contact me at any time.
Gallery items are not for sale as they are someone else’s originals. Finished products will differ from gallery items, these are just an idea of what to expect.
Paintings cannot be shipped as soon as orders are placed, there is normally a 2 week turn around before shipping. This is because they are handpainted by me and take time. Although if there is urgency please contact me here and I will see what I can do 🙂
Paintings will be shipped unframed and will be sent via registered Australia Post (postage times vary according to Australia Post).
Please treat your painting with love and care as it is very delicate therefore it is important to ensure that water does not come into contact with it. Water will activate the paint, which in turn will run.
