Everywhere we look, women are objectified and made to feel unattractive, so
companies can sell us products from make-up to smart mirrors (which literally
point out flaws and link to products we can use to ‘fix’ them).
It’s time we recognise that we are not broken; the system is.
When I draw the female form, I see light and shade. I see sensual curves and the
ability to create new life. I don’t see dimples, caesarean scars or stretch marks or
kilos. I see a map of a life lived.
Sometimes, true beauty and acceptance come from the outside in. You might feel scared, insecure or worried, but you are in a safe space with me. Let’s explore what it feels like to start being kind to yourself.
You might be just starting out or you’ve already begun wandering that twisted path.
I know it’s not easy, but the best part about this work is, you won’t have to change a single thing about your appearance. All we need to do is shift perspective. Swerve around barriers.
One at a time.
Composition of a photograph
Gentle sketched lines

Soft Pastels
Luscious timber
Your shape comes into focus.
You are exquisite
Fall in love again, or for the first time…with you.
When you first lay eyes on the portrait I create of you, you’ll be awestruck. You’ll marvel at the beauty you see in yourself when you become art.
My hope is that this might be the start (or the middle) of your path to viewing yourself more positively.
