Nobody will know this of me, but I have a fear of drawing and painting florals. I’ve tried multiple times and they don’t work. Then one morning I woke up with the urgency to paint. Lucky it was a Sunday! Bouquet Burst was the culmination of the time spent in my studio that day.
When I stood back I was shocked. Without even realising it I painted florals and evoke the feeling of an explosion of joy and love. I did it all from a place of love and being in tune with what I was feeling. The message came straight through from the universe.
Bouquet Burst was also meant to be on show in the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show this year. But, at the moment it is hanging in my lounge room! Floating, Sea Turtles, and Colourmeleon were all meant to be apart of this exhibition for me.
